How to use your refillable candle
Place your candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface before lighting. For the first burn, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the jar. This helps prevent tunnelling and gives you a more even burn each time.
Trim the wick to around 5 mm before every burn to keep the flame steady and reduce smoke. Light the candle and enjoy, allowing it to burn for no longer than 3 to 4 hours at a time.
When the candle has finished, allow the jar to cool fully before handling. Once empty, simply clean the jar and replace it with one of our refill inserts to enjoy your candle again.
Candle safety guide
Each candle refill is designed to fit jars with a diameter between 6.6 cm and 7.8 cm, making it easy to reuse your existing glassware while keeping your candle looking and performing its best.
Always burn candles within sight and keep them away from drafts, children and pets. Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface and never move a candle while it is lit or while the wax is hot.
Do not burn your candle for more than 3 to 4 hours at a time and stop use when around 10 mm of wax remains. Keep the wick trimmed to 5 mm and avoid lighting if the wick becomes damaged or off centre.
Never leave a burning candle unattended and always extinguish the flame before leaving the room or going to sleep.
